April 15 - 10-7 HA Cigar Herf

Congratulations to all Members and winners.

On Thursday April 15, once again 10-7 cigar enthusiasts gathered for our 3rd Thursday of the
month cigar Herf (Networking). What a great day this was. Shortly after 1730hrs. members, friends and guest started to arrive. On this day our very own Rick Melvin (VicePres) and Daniel
R. Shaw (Sgt. of Arms) greeted everyone.

One of the first activities was a Cigar Blind Tasting hosted by Mark(Smokey Joe's Lead Tobacconist). Seven members were selected at random to participate. Mark proceeded to make an introduction of the etiquette to properly participate on a cigar blind tasting. Seven Premium cigars were issued for the tasting. Toward the end, a critique was held by Mark and all sevenmembers on their ratings and assessment of the cigar. The cigar selected was a CAO "La Traviata". All seven participants were awarded a free CAO La Traviata at the completion of the tasting.

Through out the evening a "Mini-Auction" was held. The auction item was "4 tickets to Mariners game at the Terrace Club . The bid winner was Daniel R. Shaw . Congratulations to Daniel.

Later on we conducted 4 raffle prizes. We had several members as winners.
